The Care and Feeding of Adults: Making Theater with The Debate Society

Led by Hannah Bos, Oliver Butler, and Paul Thureen, the founding members of acclaimed Brooklyn based theater company The Debate Society, students will collaboratively conceive and develop new theater pieces inspired by their own investigations into the mysteries of death and dying. Students will use techniques The Debate Society has developed during 14 years of ensemble play-making, as well as their own interests and experiences, to deepen their creative processes and unearth original performances. While the course culminates in a performance, no performing experience is required.

Open enrollment — no application necessary.
