Howard Sherman, New York correspondent for London’s The Stage, Director of the Arts Integrity Initiative at the New School for Drama, and Senior Strategy Consultant at the Alliance for Inclusion in the Arts, will engage in conversation with Professor of Theater Stacy Wolf on Tuesday, March 24 as part of the spring course, “Isn’t It Romantic? The Broadway Musical from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Sondheim.” The course explores the Broadway musical as an artistic genre with unique conventions of aesthetics and form, and as a form of entertainment media that shaped and was shaped by its historical and cultural context. The conversation will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Room 219 at 185 Nassau Street and is free and open to the public.


 

HOWARD SHERMAN is Director of the Arts Integrity Initiative at the New School for Drama, Senior Strategy Consultant at the Alliance for Inclusion in the Arts, and New York correspondent for The Stage in London.
