Poet and Princeton alum Jenny Xie ’08 reads with creative writing seniors Mim Ra Aslaoui, Nicolas Freeman, Isabella Grabski, Lavinia Liang, Alicia Lai, and Rosed Serrano at Labyrinth Books in Princeton.

The C.K. Williams Reading Series, named in honor of the late Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award-winning poet C.K. Williams, who served on Princeton’s Creative Writing faculty for 20 years, showcases senior thesis students of the Program in Creative Writing with established writers as special guests.

JENNY XIE is the author of Eye Level (Graywolf Press, 2018), recipient of the Walt Whitman Award of the Academy of American Poets, and Nowhere to Arrive (Northwestern University Press, 2017), recipient of the Drinking Gourd Prize. She holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.F.A. from New York University’s Creative Writing Program, and has received fellowships and support from Kundiman, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Elizabeth George Foundation, and Poets & Writers. She teaches at New York University.
