Join PWMP Thursday, September 24th at 8pm for our annual kickoff event, as Pulitzer Prize-Winning Poet and newly-appointed Director of the Program in Creative Writing, Tracy K. Smith, presents on the value of mentorship in the writing process and profession. Professor Smith will also speak on her experience transitioning to her new administrative role in the Lewis Center, her experience as a professor and creative thesis advisor, and the development of her recently-published memoir, Ordinary Light.
The lecture will be followed by Q&A and the opportunity to informally discuss her remarks over light refreshments.
