Visiting Associate Professor Aaron Landsman will direct a student reading of Boundary Layer. The play was co-written by Jenny Johnson and Paul Kruse with the support of residency fellowships at Yaddo and Crosshatch Center for the Arts.

Friday, April 21, 2017
4:45 – 5:45 p.m.
Room 207 at 185 Nassau Street

Boundary Layer imagines a mysterious world covered in the most humble of life forms, moss. Here Sam and Dusty, the last two people on a lonely planet, are left to negotiate unexpected desires, relationships, and boundaries, as they step outside what is safe, familiar, and even human.

Jenny Johnson is a 2016-17 Hodder Fellow in Poetry at Princeton University. Johnson’s debut collection of poems, In Full Velvet, was released by Sarabande Books in 2017. Paul William Kruse is a playwright, film/video maker, and teaching artist living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a founding member and the resident playwright of Hatch Arts Collective. Kruse will begin a fellowship at the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin starting Fall 2017.
