In these general auditions for all of the season’s music theater pieces, which include many styles of musical expression, we welcome Princeton students of all level of experience (or lack thereof) who would like to sing in a piece of music theater, in roles and ensembles of all sizes. Each student will sign up for a five minute slot.

Experienced students should prepare a 32-bar cut of a song that shows off their vocal range, acting abilities, and personality. They should bring sheet music with cuts clearly marked. They should bring other song options if they have them.

Less experienced and new to music theater students should not be afraid to attend without sheet music. Students can sing a cappella, with their own accompaniment if they bring it (such as a guitar) or can simply sing “Happy Birthday.” We hope to have varying levels of experience in the room.

Call backs for specific shows will be held later in the week and over the weekend.
