Writers Paul Beatty and Marilyn Chin read from their work on Wednesday, February 8 at 4:30 p.m. in the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center. The reading, part of the Althea Ward Clark W’21 Reading Series, is free and open to the public.

Beatty received the prestigious 2016 Man Booker Prize for his book The Sellout, a satire of US racial politics. Chin’s new book of poems, Hard Love Province, recently won the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, an honor acknowledging important contributions to the issues of racism and diversity.
