The Trenton Project—now in its third year—is a collaborative documentary investigation by the student filmmakers of the course Urban Studies 202, “Documentary Film and the City.” This fall, students worked in partnership with Trenton residents, institutions, city employees, and community partners to produce micro-documentaries exploring how Trentonians build safe, nurturing and dynamic urban spaces in their community. These films offer a kaleidoscopic lens on the challenges Trenton faces, its ambitions for the future, and the many ways Trentonians are working together to weave and repair the fabric of their city.

A work-on-progress critique with visiting filmmakers Megan Mylan and Sadia Shepard takes place on Monday, January 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the School of Architecture in Betts Auditorium. The final screening in Trenton is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19 at Artworks on 19 Everett Alley in Trenton. Free and open to the public.
