Princeton University’s Latino Graduate Student Association presents their annual symposium, Voz Latina. This year, the symposium will focus on Latin@ contributions to arts, sciences, politics, culture, and all aspects of life. The event provides a scholarly forum to share research and address specific challenges related to this theme as well as provide a venue for Latinos in underrepresented areas to share their experiences. This year our featured keynote speakers are New York Times bestselling author Domingo Martinez, rapper/filmmaker Chingo Bling (Pedro Herrera), and members of the Latin Metal Band Ill Niño (Christian Machado, Oscar Santiago, and Lazaro Pina). Free and open to the public.

The conference has been made possible through the generous support of the Department of Sociology, the Lewis Center for the Arts, the Graduate Student Government, the Program in American Studies, the Council on the Humanities, the Council on Science and Technology, the Program in Latin American Studies, the Black Graduate Caucus, the Center for the Study of Religion, and Ricardo de Leon ’86.
