Join us for a screening of Yves Saint-Laurent at the Princeton Garden Theatre, including an introduction and short Q&A session with Pierre Niney (La Comédie Française), winner of the 2015 Cesar Award for Best Actor for his role in the film. Yves Saint-Laurent looks at the life of legendary French designer Yves Saint Laurent from the beginning of his career in 1958 when he met his lover and business partner, Pierre Bergé to the late 1970’s when his health and mental stability started to decline. Actor Guillaume Gallienne (La Comédie Française; Les Garçons et Guillaume à table!) co-stars with Pierre Niney.
The event is free for all Princeton University ID card holders. Also open to the public; general admission is $11. Presented by the Council of the Humanities in partnership with the Department of French and Italian, the Lewis Center for the Arts, and L’Avant-Scène — French Theater Workshop.
