Mary Weatherford ’84, an accomplished artist who received her MFA from Bard College, is the 2014 recipient of the Artists’ Legacy Award.

Painter Mary Weatherford has won the Artists’ Legacy Foundation’s 2014 Artist Award. Founded in 2000, the foundation, based in Oakland, Calif., has presented an annual award to painters or sculptors since 2007.
As an undergraduate at Princeton, Weatherford studied Art History and Visual Arts, and was the recipient of the 1984 Louis B. Sudler Prize in the Arts. She resides in Los Angeles and is a teaching fellow at Claremont McKenna College and is represented by galleries both in New York City and Los Angeles.
