Internationally acclaimed director and Visiting Lecturer with the rank of Professor in Theater John Doyle has received a Tony Award nomination for Best Direction of a Musical for The Color Purple. Winners will be announced at  the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
