Jill Dolan to present at 28th Lambda Literary Awards

On June 6, Dean of the College, Annan Professor in English and Professor of Theater Jill Dolan will present the award for Best Book in LGBT Studies at the 28th Lambda Literary Awards (Lammys). In addition to her role as presenter, a book that Dolan co edited — Memories of the Revolution: The First Ten Years of the Wow Cafe — is nominated for Best LGBT Anthology.

The Lambda Literary Awards identify and celebrate the best lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender books of the year and affirm that LGBTQ stories are part of the literature of the world. The Lammys bring together 600 attendees including nominees, celebrities, sponsors, and publishing executives to celebrate excellence in LGBTQ publishing.

The awards ceremony will be held at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. A complete description of this year’s Lammys can be found here.
