Marjorie Carhart has worked for the Visual Arts Program for nearly 25 years. She values everyday she is privileged to spend around the talented faculty, students and staff at the Lewis Center.
Marjorie studied sculpture, and has a B.F.A. from Gettysburg College and an M.F.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Besides being surrounding by art making at the Lewis Center, she is married to sculptor Gyuri Hollosy, and her daughter Annalise is studying animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. In her free time, Marjorie enjoys spending time swimming, studying yoga, walking with her dog, and rounding out her busy life by sharing her passion for art with friends.
