Mary Barton

About

Mary Barton received her dance training at The Washington School of Ballet. Ms. Barton has performed as a Soloist and Principle dancer with the Washington Ballet, Oldenburg Staat, Ballet Joffrey Ballet, Cleveland Ballet and the American Repertory Ballet as well as many guest appearances around the United States. Her career has afforded her extensive travel in American and abroad, dancing leading roles in many of the 20th master works as well as new roles created for her by leading contemporary classical choreographers.  In addition to her performing career, Ms. Barton teaches and coaches professional and pre-professional dancers and is an accomplished choreographer.  She has presented professional pieces the the New Jersey based "The Outlet" dance project, which received notice in the Trenton Times.
