Theater Annex

The Theater Annex is a rehearsal studio adjacent to the Wallace Black Box Theater, designed to also function as an extension to the Black Box Theater stage. A folding partition wall can be closed to allow the Theater Annex to be used as a separate studio or backstage area. The annex is equipped with overhead catwalks for lighting and rigging, as well as a Boston Upright Piano.

As part of the Wallace Black Box Theater, enter the theater from Forum through the main entrance by the “dancing staircase”. The annex is located adjacent to the theater. A second entry door that goes directly into the annex — usually open only to faculty, students and staff — is located at the rear of the Forum through the side of the Wallace Theater.

Accessibility

The best way to access the Wallace Theater Annex is from the Forum level entrance on Theater Drive across from the train station where the entrance is ramp accessible. The annex is also elevator accessible from the plaza at the Arts Tower entrance adjacent to the Roth box office.
