Courses

Acting and Directing Workshop — Acting

This course develops basic acting techniques that focus on the pursuit of objectives, given circumstances, conflict, public solitude and living truthfully under imagined circumstances — technique useful for all mediums: live productions, virtual theatre, film and television. Practical skills are established through scenes and monologues worked on with student directors and the instructor. The goal for this working laboratory is to leave the semester with confidence in our acting technique, stronger stage presence, collaborative skills for working with peer directors, and a personal process to continue working and improving.
