Advanced practice in the original composition of poetry for discussion in regularly scheduled workshop meetings. The curriculum allows the student to develop writing skills, provides an introduction to the possibilities of contemporary literature and offers perspective on the places of literature among the liberal arts. Special section: The Prose Poem
Professor Paul Muldoon is considering offering a special section of CWR 302 on the Prose Poem. The class would meet Wednesdays, 9-10:50 a.m. If you have taken at least one 200-level course in poetry or prose fiction, and have an interest in extending your range in either genre, please indicate your interest on the application form.
