Introductory Fiction

The curriculum allows the student to develop writing skills, provides an introduction to the possibilities of contemporary literature and offers a perspective on the place of literature among the liberal arts. Criticism by practicing writers and talented peers encourages the student’s growth as both creator and reader of literature.

Prerequisites and Restrictions

No Prerequisites. Open enrollment. Three seats are reserved for first-year students, 3 seats for sophomores, 2 seats for juniors, 2 seats for seniors. The program is unable to maintain a waiting list. If reserved seats remain available during Add/Drop, you may write to Erin West at erin.west@princeton.edu for enrollment assistance.
