Theater Making Studio

The junior methods seminar will prepare the junior class to effectively choose, create and produce a successful theater season in their senior year. The course addresses the development of theatrical literacy, the individual creative process, collaborative and leadership skills. We will incorporate practical exercises, theater going, seminar discussions and a relationship to Classic Stage Company in NYC. The seminar will offer a space for reflecting on art-making, and for the creation of a collaborative cohort of advanced theater students, culminating in a class proposal for an exciting theater season.
