Events

The BIPOC* Theater-Makers Group is a space that is held for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and Multiracial identifying theater makers at Princeton University.

This space is not held for the making of theater, but rather as a safe space to gather and hold conversations around what it means to be a BIPOC theater-maker at Princeton University. We offer this space to help center the voices and needs of BIPOC students involved in theater and to build a community that can discuss, create, celebrate, grieve, and organize together.

This is simply a space for BIPOC individuals, and we are free to do whatever they want with the time and space! We are providing snacks so please show up and have a good time.

*We understand that the term “BIPOC” is inadequate in encapsulating all the folx oppressed by white supremacy; as this term evolves and changes, so too will the language used by this group.

Join the Group

These weekly events are open to Princeton students only. Folx do not have to make the entire 2-4 p.m. period but may shift in and out of the space as they see fit. We welcome both new student theater-makers and those that have been making theater for their entire Princeton career.

Note: the group will not meet during spring break on March 5 or 12.
