Daniel Alexander Jones collaborates with members of the Princeton community at the Lewis Center for the Arts to construct an altar over the course of a week-long residency. The week culminates in a dynamic evening of reading and conversation between Jones and Dr. Deborah Paredez (Columbia Univ.), followed by time for sharing and celebration. Events Mon-Thurs. open to University community; Friday 9/23 evening celebration is free and open to public.

The limits and Possibilities of latinidad with Alán Peláez-López

Interdisciplinary writer, visual artist, and theorist Alan Pelaez Lopez (San Francisco State) explores the limits and possibilities of "latinidad" as a unifying identity to address the ways in which queer and trans, Black, and indigenous latinxs are silenced and often forgotten in the narratives we share about the latinx experience. Open to public; no tickets required.
