An exhibition of new work created by Mark Thomas Gibson during his 21-22 Hodder Fellowship at Princeton. One part town crier, one part Twitter feed, one part government protester, and one part inner monologue, Gibson’s work visualizes the stream going on inside all our heads as we try to navigate life in a heavily mediated world. Vellai Mozhi – Frankly Speaking: An Indian Trans Woman’s Life Journey

A performance by A. Revathi, a trans woman activist, performer, and author. "Vellai Mozhi - Frankly Speaking" is a powerful first-person account of a hijra-thirunangai-transfeminine experience in southern India. A. Revathi enacts her life as a Tamil trans woman, stringing stories about finding community, navigating family relationships, encountering violence, building solidarities, finding and losing love, and discovering the joys of writing and performing. Performance in Tamil with English subtitles and live commentary. Open to public; no tickets required.

Benny Merris: Know Love Protect Opening Reception and Gallery Talk

Artist Benny Merris leads an informal walkthrough of the exhibition. Join us to learn more about Merris’s ongoing "An Other Another" series, his research on Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and the site-specific wall paintings made for this exhibition. A reception in the gallery will follow. Open to public.

A new horror musical in the genre of dark academia with book and lyrics by Mel Hornyak and Elliot Valentine Lee and music by Lee. The story focuses on three queer students of color at an elite college going to horrific lengths to prove their worth for a coveted graduation honor. The show features a score with baroque pop and dark cabaret influences. Performance on 11/18 features open captions. No tickets required.
