As part of Tina Fehlandt’s spring dance course, “DAN 315 – Dance Techniques of the 20th Century: Dunham, Graham, Horton, Limon,” master teacher Denise Vale leads a class for Princeton students on the technique of Martha Graham. The class begins at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, in the Patricia and Ward Hagan ’48 Dance Studio at 185 Nassau Street. Open to Princeton students only (students — Feb. 17th is the last day of the Drop/Add period to take DAN315 for spring semester).

As rehearsal director for the Martha Graham Dance Company for the past five years, Denise Vale handles the coaching and exercising of the dancers. She was one of the last dancers to work directly with Martha Graham.
