A reading of a new narrative fantasy play, For the Love of Beauty: Stories About Luz, written by Princeton senior Tyler Ashman ’21. For the Love of Beauty centers on Abi, a young woman who wakes up in a strange, magical land called Luz. With no idea who she is, where she came from, or where she is going, Abi feels an inexplicable urge to go…somewhere. As she and her newfound friends embark on a quest to find home in a strange new land, she struggles to understand the world around her and save Luz from imminent disaster — all while trying to control her newfound ability to create living creatures out of thin air.
