ABOUT

Katharine Powell RomanKATHARINE POWELL ROMAN most recently performed at Arden Theater in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Three Sisters (Barrymore Award nomination), and next season will play Nora there in A Doll’s House. Other theater credits include The Farnsworth Invention by Aaron Sorkin (Broadway), Warrior Class, Election Day, and The Water’s Edge (all at Second Stage Theater), After The Revolution, (Playwrights Horizons), The Voysey Inheritance (Atlantic Theater Company), and Smashing (Play Company). She has performed at regional theaters throughout the country including Yale Repertory Theatre, American Repertory Theater, American Conservatory Theater, Williamstown Theater Festival, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center National Playwrights Conference, New York Stage and Film, and MCC Theater. Films include Happythankyoumoreplease, A Girl In The Park, Game of Life, and The Baxter. Television credits include Guiding Light, Out Of Practice, and Without A Trace (CBS). She has recorded audiobooks for A Place At The Table by Susan Rebecca White and Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen. Katharine holds an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program and a BA in English and American Literature from Brown University.
