Join us to get an insider look at new work being developed and commissioned by the 2018-19 Hearst Choreographers in Residence. Choreographers Jennifer Nugent and Paul Matteson host an informal showing of new dance works in progress.

ABOUT

Jennifer Nugent and Paul Matteson have been presented by Danspace Project, Symphony Space, Dance Theater Workshop and most recently by the American Dance Festival. They both danced with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and David Dorfman Dance and have each worked with many inspiring choreographers and dancing visionaries. They have taught at numerous festivals, colleges, and universities. Jennifer is currently on faculty at Sarah Lawrence College and regularly teaches at Gibney Studios and through Movement Research. Paul is full-time faculty at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

The Murphy Dance Studio is located on the third floor of the Wallace Dance Building at the Lewis Arts complex, 122 Alexander Street, Princeton.

VEHICLE TRAFFIC NOTE:  Please note that a portion of Alexander St. south of the Lewis Arts complex (toward U.S. Route 1) is closed through April 19, and visitors are encouraged to seek driving routes that approach the arts complex from the north on Alexander St. or University Place. The West Garage remains accessible and free for parking on weeknights after 5 p.m. and on weekends from North Station Drive, off Alexander St.
