This past week at the Lewis Center, artistic programming has explored issues in our collective continuing question, What Do We Talk About When We Talk About Race and the Arts? A senior thesis exhibition by Olivia Adechi, Matter, ends April 1 in the Lucas Gallery. On March 31 Khalik Allah’s film Field Niggas was screened as part of Pacho Velez’s spring film course, and on April 1 Oge Ude’s dance-theater project, there.remaining., exploring W.E.B. Du Bois’ theory of double consciousness, begins a two week run in the Matthews Acting Studio.

On Tuesday, April 5, please join the artists and Lewis Center students, faculty and staff for a gathering and an informal conversation about these recent artistic experiences in the context of our ongoing shared dialogue.

Food served starting at 6 p.m. followed by discussion.

Open to Princeton students, faculty and staff
