Princeton French Film Festival

The 2nd annual Princeton French Film Festival includes 11 movies by emerging and award-winning filmmakers, 4 Q&A sessions, 2 masterclasses, and a book discussion. All films will be screened in accessible venues on Princeton University’s campus, at Princeton Public Library, or at Princeton Garden Theatre in their original languages (English subtitles). Moʻo: Exhibition by Kapili Naehu-Ramos

Moʻo is an exhibition of new work by Practice of Art senior Kapili Naehu-Ramos. Moʻo is composed of strips or fragments of Hawaiian stories and genealogies in a show featuring weaving and poetry, as well as dyed, printed, and painted fabrics. It is in reverence of the feminine. Gallery open daily 10 AM-8 PM. Opening reception: April 15 at 7 PM.

Film Screening: Ex-Shaman

Since their first contact with the Western world in 1969, the Paiter Suruí, an Indigenous people living in the Amazon basin, have been exposed to sweeping social changes. "Ex-Shaman" follows Perpera, a Christianized former shaman, as he searches for a way to restore vitality to his village. Reserve free tickets through Garden Theatre.
