Artist’s Statement

He provides the following information on his exhibition:

“There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks when decades happen.

Living in times of runaway change, my body of work considers the slippage between images of celebration and war, and imagination and violence as mediated through racialized bodies and objects.

Uncertainty makes way for transformations. Repurposing and going beyond the confines of a racialized aesthetic, my work hopes to propose and contribute to imagining different modes of relation for imagining our joint future.”

Artist’s Statement in Spanish

Viva Palestina.”
