Found in Translation: Thoughts, Ideas, and Prayers

Visual Arts senior Ryan Xia presents an exhibition of books, paintings, and vinyl prints featuring the thoughts, ideas, and prayers submitted by 150 Princeton students. Starting on April 4, members of the University community are invited to come to the reading room to translate, interpret, and understand the thoughts, ideas, and prayers of their peers. The reading room will magnify what we do every day:

“Every moment of every day we are translating, interpreting, and understanding the world and the people around us so that we may come to love all that forms our lives.”

The exhibition celebrates the diversity of thought among peers and facilitates understanding and empathy for the realities of others.
