Visual Arts senior Seb Benzecry presents a new short film, Heirloom, as a senior thesis in visual arts + film. Heirloom is an animated journey through the history of a piece of fabric, blending stop-motion and rotoscope animation to bring to life moments in time across two hundred years of American history.
The film screening was scheduled for April 22, 2020, in the James Stewart Film Theater at 185 Nassau Street. The physical theater screening was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the film is available online. View the virtual gallery at 185nassau.art
