The 2015 Princeton French Theater Festival continues with Comme la lune, a fairy tale for teenagers as well as grownups. It is Bertrand Usclat’s and Pauline Clément’s first written play and comes directly from Studio Hébertot in Paris, where it’s been developing all summer long. Pauline Clément takes on the performance of all characters in the play, starting with Princess Daisy who will soon come of age and become Queen of the Kingdom but who suffers from a quirky and ‘off the wall’ personality. This princess is the constant target of mockery and blame from her guardian, and she endures a life for which she is not made.

Performances are on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 29 and 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Marie and Edward Matthews ’53 Acting Studio at 185 Nassau Street. Performed in French. Duration: 70 minutes.

Admission is free but reservations are strongly recommended by sending an email to ftw@princeton.edu Subject Line: Festival.
