Princeton Chinese Theater in partnership with the Lewis Center for the Arts’ Program in Theater presents Teahouse, a play by Lao She. A masterpiece of contemporary Chinese theater, Teahouse spans fifty years in modern Chinese history from the collapse of the Qing dynasty and the Republican Revolution to the birth of the People’s Republic, bringing together over sixty characters who represent all walks of life. Directed by senior Changshuo Liu. Most of the play is performed in English with small portions performed in Chinese. A post-show panel discussion takes place at 4:45 p.m. after the November 17th 2 p.m. matinee performance.

Tickets: $12 in advance of show dates, $10 students/$12 seniors, $17 purchased the day of performances at the box office. Buy tickets in advance at Frist Campus Center ticket office or online at tickets.princeton.edu.

The Princeton Chinese Theatre was founded by five students in March 2008 with the vision of sharing their experience and love for China with their fellow students.
