The Program in Theater presents The Other Shore by Nobel Prize-winning playwright Gao Xingjian on April 30, May 2, 7, 8 & 9 at 8:00 p.m. and May 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Berlind Rehearsal Room at McCarter Theatre Center. Considered Xingjian’s greatest work for the stage, The Other Shore explores the desperate human struggle to reach a state of nirvana by crossing the river of life to the other shore. Performances are directed by senior certificate student Kanoa Mulling ’15. A talk back with Professor of Theater Bob Sandberg will follow the Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. performance.
