NOTE: The workshop on December 16 has been canceled.

Professional director and choreographer and Princeton Arts Fellow Will Davis is embarking on a new project and would be thrilled to include students in the workshop process. Untitled Horse Show will be an autobiographical piece about his experience as a transgender person.

Davis offers this context: “The horse has always been a significant symbol of queer masculinity to me, and I am planning to make a wild and strange new play, in which I transform into a horse and the audience does too. There will be horse dances and horse songs. There will be handmade horse spectacle, there will be nonbinary perfect queer delight. Ultimately this piece will need a chorus of performer-horses, and I need help figuring it all out. I’m extending an invitation to students to join me once a month in the studio to participate in developing aspects of the show.”
