Since late March, Program in Theater Director Jane Cox has invited special guests to join her students for informal conversations about theater-making and the creative process. The broader community is invited to join these virtual conversations on Zoom. We ask — what inspires these significant theater artists? What does community mean to them? How do they think about audiences, casting, design, arts education?

In this conversation, recent theater program alumni in the field interview each other about the experiences of being a young professional theater maker at this particular moment.

Steven Tran (pianist-performer-composer-music director-director-sound designer-playwright); Victoria Davidjohn (writer, theater director, and lighting designer); Sam Gravitte (performer, musician and burgeoning Marxist); Daniel Krane (director, playwright, arts journalist, and theater critic); Abigail Jean-Baptiste (director and theater artist) and Emma Watkins (playwright, dramaturg and performer) will interview each other from 4:45-5:30 p.m., followed by audience Q&A until 6 p.m.

The conversation is free and open to the public.
