Lecturer in Visual Arts and sculptor/painter Pam Lins has been selected as a recipient of an unrestricted grant from the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation. Lins is one of 30 artists awarded $20,000 each to continue their work in painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, video, craft or multimedia. Winners of the biennial award are selected for their talent, individual artistic strength, and work that shows promise but has not yet received widespread critical acclaim or commercial recognition. Established in 1918, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation remains one of the largest single sources of unrestricted monetary awards to artists.
