Lewis Center Faculty win 2017 Guggenheim Fellowships

Six Lewis Center faculty members have received 2017 Fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation: Lecturer in Creative Writing Phil Klay for Fiction; Visiting Associate Professor and Belknap Visiting Fellow Aaron Landsman for Drama and Performance Art; Lecturer in Creative Writing Fiona Maazel for Fiction; Visiting Professor of Creative Writing Claudia Rankine for Poetry; and Director of the Program in Music Theater and Professor of Theater Stacy Wolf in the category of Theatre Arts for her forthcoming book, Beyond Broadway: Four Seasons of Amateur Musical Theatre in the U.S.; and recent visiting lecturer in the Princeton Atelier Marianne Weems for Drama and Performance Arts.

This year, 173 Guggenheim Fellowships were awarded to a diverse group of scholars, artists, and scientists appointed on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise. Read the full announcement and view the full list of fellows at www.gf.org.
