The Lewis Center for the Arts kicked off a full and exciting season of performances, exhibitions, readings, screenings, concerts, lectures and events in September 2019. Faculty, fellows, students, and guest artists presented spectacular work, driven in large part by seniors producing their independent creative theses. As the spring semester kicked into high gear, the COVID-19 pandemic hit New Jersey and classes moved to remote learning. With a heavy heart, the remainder of spring events were canceled. Princeton’s arts community rallied with creativity as everyone adjusted to a virtual world, forging and celebrating a new kind of community over Zoom.
