About

Angel develops and manages initiatives that engage alumni with the Lewis Center's academic programs and the Princeton community, including producing the ALUMNI POV series of events and profiles showcasing alumni in the arts and creative professions. She also serves as liaison to the Lewis Center Advisory Council.

Angel’s professional career as an arts administrator spans more than 25 years. Before coming to Princeton, she served nine years as Director of Communications for National Dance Institute (NDI), the celebrated arts education non-profit founded by ballet legend Jacques d’Amboise. Prior to her time at NDI, she traveled the country for several years as a freelance tour manager, supporting world-class artists such as Mikhail Baryshnikov, Elizabeth Streb, Batsheva Dance Company and the St. Petersburg Academic Capella Choir. Angel has worked as a manager and event producer for many notable organizations including Brooklyn Academy of Music, Theater Communications Group, Jean Cocteau Rep, New Federal Theatre, Yale Repertory Theater, the Hip-Hop Theater Festival and the New Haven International Festival of Arts & Ideas. As a dedicated practitioner and supporter of choral music, she currently sings with Princeton Pro Musica. As a volunteer, she serves on the Board of Directors of Princeton Pro Musica, the Oratorio Society of New York, and Yale in Hollywood, and is a "Big Sister" with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Mercer County. Angel holds a BA in Art from Goshen College and an MFA in Theater Management from Yale School of Drama, and is currently serving a term as a Yale School of Drama Delegate to the Alumni Assembly.
