About

David Bradley is a Philadelphia-based theater director and arts educator whose work includes directing classic and contemporary plays at regional theatres and leading a variety of boundary-crossing collaborations with theatres, museums, universities, historic sites and communities. His work frequently explores themes of public history, community stories and civic engagement. Bradley is a longtime collaborator with Temple University's Institute on Disabilities and the director and co-creator of A Fierce Kind of Love — a project with a cast including people with intellectual disabilities, that is based on oral histories with advocates and self-advocates from the disability rights movement. Bradley is also the Founding Director of LiveConnections, which inspires learning and builds community through collaborative music-making, a long-time company member of People’s Light & Theatre Company, and a frequent collaborator with Philadelphia Young Playwrights, the National Constitution Center, Theater of War Productions.
