Pamela Levy

About

Pamela Levy holds an MA in Dance Education/ABT Ballet Pedagogy from New York University, and a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts - Rutgers. She received her early dance training at the Princeton Ballet School. Ms. Levy danced professionally with Murray Louis and Nikolais Dance Company, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Claudia Gitelman Dance Theatre and Don Redlich Dance Company. Ms. Levy is an ABT® Affiliate Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum, and has successfully presented students for examinations. She is currently on the faculty of American Ballet Theatre’s JKO School Children’s Division, as well as Mason Gross School of the Arts – Rutgers University Dance Department, and Princeton University. Ms. Levy additionally serves on the ABT National Training Curriculum Board of Examiners for which she recently adjudicated the first NTC exams in Mexico. She has also taught for Rider University, ABT’s Outreach Program, The Mark Morris Dance Center, Teachers College – Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Berkeley Ballet Theater, Princeton Dance Theatre Studio, The Princeton Ballet School, Washington Rock Youth Ballet and Ballet Forte at Wings Conservatory. Ms. Levy has previously served as the Director of the ABT Certified School at Mason Gross School of the Arts, The Mark Morris Student Dance Company, and the Washington Rock Youth Ballet.
