About

Hiiii! My name is Sabina Jafri (she/her) and I am a rising sophomore majoring in Economics and pursuing certificates in Theater, Music Theater and Finance. I am originally from Olney, Maryland.

While in high school, I founded a student one-act festival at my town’s regional theater that encouraged teenage autonomy and creativity. The program allowed for students to write, design, direct, stage manage, and perform social justice shows for the greater community. This program instilled in me a great passion for all things at the intersection of theatre, education, and social justice.

On campus, I am involved with the Lewis Center's theater productions and classes, and I am a part of the LCA’s outreach team. As a result, I have a lot of peripheral knowledge about all the arts events and initiatives going on around campus at any time!

In addition to LCA involvement, I am also Special Projects Coordinator for the Princeton University Players and New Initiatives Director for the Princeton Arts Council, which manages all student arts groups on campus. I also direct, act, stage manage and produce on campus.

I am excited to be an advisor, make new friends, and help fellow art markers discover their passions. I look forward to grabbing coffee or going on a walk with any student who wants to talk about the LCA, Princeton, or really anything at all!
