The world premiere for Lareigne was at the The Joyce Theater in New York, on January 31, 1995. The work was self-produced by the Stephen Petronio Dance Company, Inc. and was created, in part, with commissioning support from Walker Arts Center. The music score by David Linton was created with the commissioning support by the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust.
