“Art as Refuge: a Collection from Syrian Refugees” is an art exhibit featuring work by Syrian Refugees living in the Za’atari Refugee Camp. This art collection has been previously exhibited in the US Mission to UN Gallery and at Wesleyan University. The work will be on display on Thursday, May 5 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Chancellor Green.
Along with the art, there will be spoken word testimonies from refugees’ experiences, snacks, and postcards of the art for sale.
Free and open to the public.
