The French Program will host the first event of its Spring festival “Celebrating Diversity in the Francophone World,” a panel discussion with officials and Francophone diplomats in collaboration with the International Organization of La Francophonie (Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie), which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020.
The panel: “Le rôle de la Francophonie sur la scène internationale: regards croisés de l’OIF et d’Etats membres” will be conducted in French.
The panel will be followed by a reception. Both events are free and open to the public.
Presented by Princeton University’s Department of French and Italian with support from the Lewis Center for the Arts, Humanities Council, Program for Community-Engaged Scholarship (ProCES), Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, Program in Canadian Studies, and the 250th Anniversary Fund for Innovation in Undergraduate Education.
