Students from fall 2020 courses in the Program in Dance present their work in a series of virtual showings.

Event Schedule

  • November 23 at 1-1:30 PM (EST): DAN 213, “Introduction to Contemporary Dance,” taught by Alexandra Beller. Students share a final group project followed by audience Q&A.
  • November 23 at 2:30-4 PM (EST): DAN 357, “Are You for Sale? Performance Making, Philanthropy and Ethics,” taught by Miguel Gutierrez. In a showing entitled “The Teach-In Clinic for Love of People and Art (and Money),” students share on class topics such as philanthropy pros and cons, private vs. public funding, and new artistic models for art-making and money. Audience Q&A included.
