Watched is a powerful story of an immigrant teenager in Queens, NY, and a timely look at the issue of home-grown terrorism in the U.S. and surveillance in Muslim communities. Author of Watched, Marina Budhos reads from her new novel and engages in discussion with the audience moderated by Program in Creative writing faculty member and screenwriter Christina Lazaridi on Thursday, October 27 at 4:30 p.m. in East Pyne Room 010. Copies of Watched will be available for sale and will be signed by the author. The event is free and open to the public.
