A screening of G-Works, video works produced by Professor of Creative Writing Aleksandar Hemon, featuring his words and music.

The program focuses on video works by Zlatko Ćosić and Tarik Berber, produced by Hemon, whose musical alter ego is Cielo Hemon. Ćosić’s Conclusions came out of improvised image manipulation to Cielo’s track of the same name. Moonlight Inside is centered around the hallucinatory dance of Audrey Simes. Godspotting is a mesmerizing meditation on urban transcendence, starring Berlin at night. Berber’s Lint is an animation of more than 4,000 drawings on paper in response to Hemon’s poem and Cielo’s track of the same name.

Hemon and Ćosić will be present for the screening; audience Q&A will follow.
